Delphi Basics
- Delphi lacks train transportation, but is conveniently reachable from Athens by bus. Daily buses to Delphi depart from KTEL Bus Station B in Liosion, roughly a 15-minute taxi ride north of the city center. Tickets can be purchased online around 10 days before departure — recommended during peak season — or at the bus station. To ensure a seat during summer, arrive early; a ticket alone doesn’t secure seating on a fully occupied bus. The journey lasts approximately 3 hours and includes a brief 10-minute stop.
- Most Delphi hotels situated along the town`s principal streets only offer restricted street parking. If traveling by car and staying in the town center, you may need to park just outside the main streets and walk in to your hotel. Nidimos Hotel is the only centrally-located hotel with private parking: an underground garage (first come, first serve) with electric vehicle charging stations.
- If you’ll be visiting Delphi and have a vehicle, you could also consider lodging in a nearby town and driving in to see the archaeological site and museum. Two of the best nearby towns to stay near Delphi are Arachova, a picturesque mountain ski village situated on the slopes of Mount Parnassus (a 15-minute drive east), and Galaxidi, a charming and serene Neoclassical port village on the Corinthian Gulf (a 30-minute drive west).
- Best Restaurants in Delphi: To Patriko Mas (amazing views and traditional cooking), Taverna Vakhos (creative local menu with good beer/wine selection, suitable for vegetarians and those with dietary restrictions), and Souvlaki Dionisis (inexpensive but excellent gyro sandwiches).

With regards to noise reduction, ON1 NoNoise AI performs somewhat better than Topaz DeNoise AI when utilizing the automatic settings; yet, there are more aspects to take into account. Topaz DeNoise AI is quicker, and the user interface is far more intuitive. Also, Topaz DeNoise AI can obtain related results in noise reduction if you dedicate a little more time modifying the sliders.
Staying in Delphi
Delphi is a compact town conducive to exploration on foot, with most hotels, shops, and eateries situated along two main parallel roads, offering stunning vistas of the olive groves in the surrounding Pleistos River Valley and the Gulf of Corinth. A handful of excellent hotels perched above the central area provide more peacefulness set in an idyllic village setting, though Delphi itself is a quaint locale with limited nightlife; restaurants and taverns remain open late, but even the busiest parts of Delphi become rather tranquil after dark. (For a livelier party scene, head to the nearby village of Arachova, merely a 10-minute drive away.) All hotels are conveniently near dining choices, boutiques, the bus station (including buses to Athens), Ancient Delphi, and the Delphi Archaeological Museum.
