Tampa International Airport has a somewhat egg-shaped structure, with the Main (or Landside) Terminal at its center containing ticketing, baggage claim, and short-term parking areas. Five Airside concourses radiate outward from the Landside Terminal. Airside A, C, E, and F are where travelers catch domestic and international flights, while Airside B serves as a sorting facility for remote bag checks. Airside D will handle both domestic and international flights once construction finishes in 2025. The lovely Tampa Airport Marriott adjoins the north end of the Main Terminal, while long-term parking sits adjacent to the south side.
The Motor Vehicle Rental Centre sits directly south of the airport terminal. The Sky Connect Train links the Landside Terminal to the Motor Vehicle Rental Centre. All major car rental firms are represented here in this multi-level complex. On the ground floor outside, two public bus systems have their stops for airport passengers at the Motor Vehicle Rental Centre (more on buses later).
