LAX – Best Places To Stay
- Staying near LAX provides convenience for a brief stopover or one night stay in Los Angeles but it is certainly not among my preferred areas to lodge in L.A..
- Many of the lodgings on West Century Blvd (directly east from LAX) are walkable from the airport (though they all offer shuttle service). The hotels in El Segundo (south of interstate 105) are a little farther, slightly quieter, but definitely not walkable. This area has more dining and shopping options, and feels more like a genuine community.
- Accommodations near LAX: There are no hotels positioned in the LAX terminals. The closest hotel to LAX is the Hyatt Regency.
- Some hotels near LAX airport that provide a free shuttle service include: the Hyatt Regency, the H Hotel, the AC Hotel by Marriott, the Cambria Hotel LAX, the Renaissance Los Angeles Airport, the Westin Los Angeles Airport, the DoubleTree by Hilton, the Hampton Inn & Suites LAX El Segundo, and the Sonesta LAX.
- All hotel shuttles pick up and drop off on the Departures level.
- The car rental website offers some of the best prices and choices for securing automobile rentals at LAX airport. As far as I know, there are no hotels near LAX that provide free auto storage.
