If some in your group arenβt suited for a strenuous hike, I would recommend taking a vehicle to Bridal Veil Falls instead. You can reach this iconic Telluride landmark by driving partway up the winding Black Bear Pass Switchbacks.

Equestrians can explore the San Juan Mountains anytime throughout the year. But in winter, when the pines are heavily laden with snow, it creates an especially magical atmosphere. Telluride Horseback Adventures and Telluride Wranglers offer trail rides of varying lengths. Alternatively, gathering the whole family for a sleigh ride is a charming way to celebrate the holidays season.
