Cool Airbnbs in Denver for Couples

If you’re planning an escape for two people, here are eight great choices for your trip to Denver.

Historic Carriage House in Denver’s Oldest Neighborhood

This location must be among the best choices for an Airbnb stay in Denver! You will surely appreciate this historical carriage house accommodation situated just blocks from the charming River North Arts District area.

In the late 1800s it was a stable used to shelter horses, and today, it exudes character and distinctiveness, with revealed brick walls, repurposed wood and distressed furnishings.

In fact, the house is so unique it was featured in Architectural Digest online as Colorado’s most beautiful Airbnb!

Original elements skillfully combine with modern amenities. There’s a fully equipped kitchen where one can prepare and enjoy meals, and a living room furnished with a television, WiFi, leather sofa and a wall map of America created from vehicle license plates. The bedroom features windows facing the living room accompanied by quirky artwork and gas lamps adding atmosphere. The bathroom includes all necessary amenities and there’s even a shared space providing gym equipment, a private hot tub and patio.

The house provides free on-street parking, but if driving is not preferable, you’re within a brief walk of RiNo with its trendy restaurants, breweries and shops.

A Tiny Slice of Heaven

We are drawn to tiny homes, and we admire this tiny, intimate studio set within a shipping container (saved for our future Colorado excursions!).

We’ve truly stayed at one of this host’s amenities before – this one, which is adjacent to the listing we’re discussing – and strongly recommend both Sarsha’s places, and the area in Berkeley Park. It’s compact, stylish, and will make a great home foundation for exploring Denver.

The rental unit was compact – only 264 total square feet – but cozily nestled in the trendy Berkeley Park suburb of Denver, a prime location for families exploring the city. The neighborhood was within easy walking distance of Tennyson Street, considered one of Denver`s top areas for food enthusiasts, home to one of our favorite eateries in the city – Vital Root.

The studio itself, situated in the owner’s garden with a private entrance, is fully stocked with a queen bed, ensuite bathroom, smart TV and Wifi. There’s storage space for clothes, and a small but well-supplied kitchen from where you can serve takeout or prepare light snacks. After a day exploring Denver and its surroundings, you can return here to BBQ food on the private patio and unwind beneath twinkling lights as the sun descends.

If you’re arriving in Denver by car, you can also benefit from free parking on the premises.

Beautiful Bungalow Half Duplex LoHi/Sunnyside Area

You’ll enjoy staying in this trendy lodging in LoHi/Sunnyside, a lovely neighbourhood just across the river from the city center (it’s totally walkable).

We stayed in this neighborhood previously during our first journey to Denver, and find ourselves returning here whenever in town. It`s within an easy walk of around 50 outstanding dining establishments such as Root Down (thought to offer Denver`s best brunch), Acova (many vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free selections), and Avanti Food & Beverage (a cool rooftop bar + food court).

Their drinking establishment, which is 15 minutes outside of downtown San Diego, is well worth stopping by for cider fans.

Decorated in muted tones with wood floors and stylish furnishings, you`ll feel right at home in this bungalow. The living space/kitchen is fully equipped with appliances like a stove, oven, and large refrigerator. The bedroom is bright and roomy with an ensuite bathroom.

There`s an outdoor patio with a bench where you can enjoy an evening glass of wine while taking in the LoHi scene, benefiting also from free on-site parking.

In our opinion, this is one of the coolest Airbnbs in Denver based on the fantastic setting and in-house amenities for couples.

King RiNo Private Yard

We are fond of this renovated row home in Denver’s trendy RiNo neighborhood. From here you can browse local markets, hang out at local breweries, and head to bars and restaurants such as Barcelona Wine Bar and Shake Shack.

The clean, stylishly decorated house has amenities catering to all – think separate air conditioning, king size bed with a Sealy iComfort mattress and a private yard for morning coffee and alfresco dining.

The open plan living room/kitchen has a loft-like feeling with exposed brick walls, hardwood floors, and a cozy sofa where you can curl up and watch movies. There’s wireless internet if you need to check in with friends and a well-equipped kitchen where you can create your own culinary masterpieces.

The property is impressive, but the highlight is the location. There’s free on-street parking if traveling by car but you probably won’t need it during your stay as Larimer Street and RiNo are moments away.

Jog Around Berkeley Lake from a Charming Craftsman Home

We are fans of this charming craftsman home dating waaaaay back to 1906. The beautiful house, painted in soft blue, has been renewed throughout, demonstrating a simultaneously modern-yet-vintage vibe.

It comfortably accommodates two people with one bedroom and one bathroom. It’s a compact location with garden space and a patio where you can sip morning coffee, grill dinner or bask in the sunshine. Which, incidentally, Denver experiences plenty of.

The living and dining area lets in lots of light and air decorated in cooler shades, with a double bed, fully equipped kitchen and cozy dining spot for two. There`s a complete bathroom where you can refresh after a day of sightseeing and free parking on the grounds. The property offers good WiFi if you plan to work during your stay, and air conditioning so you can stay warm in winter and cool in summer!

This home is near Berkeley Lake with its hiking and jogging trails, Lakeside Amusement Park, and Oriental Theater, a live music venue. There are excellent restaurants and cafes within walking distance too along Tennyson Street, involving Amethyst Coffee Lakeside, which is one of our preferred coffee shops in Denver.

This home located at an address in the neighborhood exudes character, featuring wooden wall accents, warm decor, and stylish furnishings.

The space provides opportunities for cooking and food preparation in the kitchen, curling up with a good movie on the couch or relaxing in the purple clawfoot bathtub after exploring the city of Denver for the day! The bedroom is decorated in soothing blue shades – ideal for promoting deep rest, and those traveling by vehicle can find parking on the adjacent street.

The property itself is situated on a family-friendly street in Sunnyside, within walking distance of cafes, yoga studios, and Rocky Mountain Lake. For food lovers, there are several restaurants within a short walk, and you’re just a hop, skip, and a jump away from the Highlands area, where you’ll discover all sorts of good food and drink options.

Fishtown is an area that’s north of Old City, and it’s currently home to an up-and-coming food and drink scene. It’s also a gentrification hotspot in Philadelphia, and the neighborhood is undergoing a major change, similar to the ones we’ve seen in places like Brooklyn (in New York City), the Mission District (in San Francisco), and Capitol Hill (in Seattle).
