It`s easy to see why it`s considered one of the most significant destinations to explore in Tenerife. The hotel is outstanding, directly confronting Lake Martiánez, and it presents incredible ocean vistas. Among its facilities are two swimming pools for adults (one of which is heated during the winter season), a children’s pool, and a jacuzzi. You can utilize the sauna and hydromassage showers, or book a massage, for an extra fee.

One of the highly recommended lodging options in Puerto de la Cruzdue to its location and quality customer service is the . It features two outdoor pools (among them one heated), lush gardens, and rooms with balconies. The property is simply a 5-minute walk from downtown and just over half a mile from Lake Martiánez. Furthermore, the complex has a buffet restaurant and bar often presenting shows and live music all year round.

If you opt to visit this Fuerteventura beach, keep in mind that the marina is very nearby, and it’s a great place to go scuba diving and windsurfing. You can even learn to surf by reserving this activity.

Where to eat in Puerto de la Cruz, Tenerife

I prefer the ferry as it’s swift and convenient. Plus, if you’re hiring a vehicle in Lanzarote, you can bring it on the boat, and then explore the island independently. Of course, I recommend verifying the DirectFerries website for up-to-date pricing and departure and arrival times for the Fuerteventura to Lanzarote ferry.

A cheaper, yet still wonderful, option is Casa Mediterránea, which serves quality meat dishes. The Romanian restaurant Bambi Gourmet is another excellent restaurant with a good reputation.

Finally, if you’re seeking a good family dining establishment serving hearty dishes, I recommend Bodega Julián. Here, you can sample the legendary Canarian mojo sauce and other typical meals from this region.

How to get to Puerto de le Cruz, Tenerife

If you hire an automobile at Tenerife North Airport, this is the ideal approach to explore Puerto de la Cruz:

  • Take the TF-5 towards TF-31
  • Take Exit 32 and continue on TF-31 to TF-312.

If you prefer using public transportation, take Bus 30 towards Puerto de la Cruz. The ride into the city takes roughly 30 minutes with 14 stops along the way.
