The Best Kid-Friendly Hotel in Railay

Railay is one of the finest locations in Thailand for youngsters. Fantastic beaches, no cars (pathways going every path), and since there are no roadways, you must take a longtail boat to arrive here – entertaining! (Just be prepared to get a little damp getting off in Railay.) Not numerous lodging alternatives for families of 4, 5, or 6, so book early..

Rayavadee Resort

a scenic view of a beach with palm trees Seclusion amid nature, beaches, mountains and forest await families at this resort. Numerous villas (mainly called pavilions) are scattered throughout pristine lawns, coconut groves and a jungle inhabited by squirrels and monkeys – all directly overlooking the ocean beneath the towering limestone peaks. The expansively landscaped grounds, vast enough to require buggies for guests and bicycles for staff, seem endless as they access three incredible beaches (some of my favorites in Thailand). The magnificent infinity pool, with edges indistinguishable from the azure sea, lies at the sublime Railay West beach. All pavilions are two-story structures, concealed behind walls and dense foliage while spaced at least 20 meters apart. They feature lovely outdoor dining and lounging areas, with some including private pools and/or hot tubs. Spacious sofas downstairs can convert to single beds. Better yet, an extra room with a second bedroom and bathroom adjoins the special Family Pavilion. The resort actively encourages families through a range of engaging activities such as yoga, sand art, Thai cooking and self-guided nature walks, as well as amenities like tennis, squash and a library. Surprisingly, there`s no dedicated Kids Club, though every youngster will cherish the setting and abundant space.
