A one-of-a-kind hotel in Midtown that captures Nashville’s rhinestone glamor.

The Graduate Nashville is the best Nashville hotel for a unique bachelorette party experience. The entire hotel has a fun playful atmosphere inspired by Dolly Parton and other country music legends. 

The hotel rooms are beautifully decorated with florals, striped wallpaper, and other charming details. It is a bit of a walk to Downtown Nashville, but the hotel is located near Vanderbilt University and there’s a strong local nightlife.

Bluegrass Banjo

A calm vacation rental located in Midtown that sleeps up to 8.

Bluegrass Banjo is great for a larger group or a calm place to recover from Nashville’s nightlife. Located in Midtown, just a few minutes walk from Centennial Park, the vacation rental can sleep up to 8 guests.

The mid-century modern property is the perfect place for a bachelorette party. It has conveniences you won’t find in a hotel – like a kitchen and laundry facilities. There are also parking spaces available for those driving to Nashville or renting a car in Nashville.

Noelle

A Downtown hotel near all the action with a beautiful Art Deco style.

Noelle has an ideal location in Downtown Nashville. It’s right off of Printers Alley, and steps from honky tonks, bars, and other Nashville attractions. The location alone would make the hotel a great choice for a bachelorette party, but Noelle also happens to be absolutely beautiful.

The building was built in 1929 and has since been renovated. The hotel has a hidden bar, a rooftop bar, a coffee shop, and an Italian restaurant.

Dive Motel

Best for bachelorette groups who love a retro vibe and want to keep the party going all night long.

The Dive Motel is the perfect accommodation for a retro-themed bachelorette party. The 1965 motel has been renovated but still has a strong 60s/70s party feel. If shag carpets, dark wood paneling, and disco balls fit the bachelorette party aesthetic you had in mind, the Dive Motel is the place to stay.

The hotel is 21+ only. Guests can enjoy the dive bar as well as the outdoor pool. On the weekends the motel typically has pool parties when the weather is good enough, during which the entire hotel basically turns into one giant dance party.

Rustic Retreat

A quiet and cozy log home that sleeps up to 8 located in Donelson.

Check out the Rustic Retreat for a bachelorette party in Nashville away from the crowds. This vacation rental is located in Donelson, one of the more residential of Nashville’s neighborhoods. It’s just a short drive from the vacation rental to Downtown or anywhere else in Nashville.

The rental has all the comforts of home: a large kitchen, multiple bedrooms, and a cozy sitting area. Plus, it has inviting touches like a working gas fireplace and a covered front porch with rocking chairs. Cumberland River Paddle

Enjoy a view of Downtown Nashville from the river as you kayak down the Cumberland.

Get outdoors and see a different side of Music City as you paddle along the Cumberland River. Pedal taverns and party buses are popular with bachelorette parties, but this is a more unique option for groups. If you’re not up for paddling, you can take a Party Pontoon with River Queen Voyages.

12 South

Shop and dine in one of the cutest neighborhoods in Nashville.

Spend an afternoon of events exploring this adorable Nashville neighborhood. The area’s cool boutiques and eateries attract a constant flow of visitors. In particular, you can’t leave Nashville without visiting Reese Witherspoon’s flagship Draper James store. Emerson Grace, Imogene + Willie, and White’s Mercantile are also worth a visit.

While in 12 South, make sure to be on the lookout for some of Nashville’s most famous murals. A few of the most popular murals have long lines for photos on the weekends, but you’ll spot plenty of murals you can easily snap photos with.

Arrington Vineyards

Just a 25-minute drive from Downtown Nashville, Arrington Vineyards is the perfect place to spend an afternoon. Have a picnic in the area overlooking the vineyards while testing out the local wine flights and glasses of frosé.

During the summer months, Arrington Vineyards hosts Food Truck Fridays with some of the best food trucks in the area. On Saturdays and Sundays, they also typically have live bands playing in the evening. Visiting the vineyards is a good slower-paced activity for bachelorette parties who want time to socialize with each other.

🚗 How to Get There: If you don’t want to pick a designed driver, then you can book a shuttle to Arrington Vineyards instead. That way everyone can try the frosé.

Line Dancing

You can’t plan a Nashville bachelorette party without going line dancing. If your crew loves to hit the dance floor, line dancing is the perfect group activity. Some of the honky tonks like the Wildhorse Saloon do line dance sessions in between live music.

Unsurprisingly, there are lots of places offering line dance lessons in Nashville. Line dance lessons are great for everyone from beginners to more advanced. Book the line dance lesson at Whisky Bent to learn some of the most popular dances. You’ll even get a recording of the lesson emailed to you afterward.

Grand Ole Opry

No visit to Music City is complete without a visit to the Grand Ole Opry. The iconic country music broadcast features performances from up-and-coming talent to country superstars. Catching a Grand Ole Opry show is definitely worth your time.

If not, you can still see the Opry House and get a peek behind the scenes. Take a guided backstage tour to see where your favorite artists prepare for their performance on the show. 

It’s also a good idea to take the special Women of Country tour – especially for fans of legends like Dolly, Reba, Trisha, and Loretta. Complete with mimosas and petit fours, it’s a fun tour to take during a bachelorette weekend. Even those attending the bachelorette party who aren’t huge country music fans will love this one.

Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum

Brides who are also country music fans will love the Country Music Hall of Fame. The museum houses an incredible amount of artifacts related to country music history.

However, not every bachelorette party in Nashville needs to include a trip to the Country Music Hall of Fame. I’ve definitely seen bachelorette groups visiting who were not into the museum, so think about the personalities of the attendees.

Nashville Bachelorette Restaurants

Red-Headed Stranger

Red-Headed Stranger is a popular Tex-Mex spot in East Nashville and one of the best restaurants in Nashville. All of the tacos are delicious, and a lot of people really love the cheeseburger with hatch chilis. I get an order of totchos (tater tots loaded with nacho toppings) every time I’m here.

The line is usually out the door around meal times on the weekends. Consider planning to arrive in the afternoon and enjoy margaritas outdoors on the patio to avoid waiting in line for as long. Then, everyone at the bachelorette party will get to eat good food and take Instagram-worthy photos with fewer crowds.

Hampton Social

Located in Downtown Nashville, Hampton Social is one of the most popular Nashville bachelorette party ideas. The coastal-inspired spot has multiple levels all with beautiful decor and a laid-back vibe. 

The menu has delicious seafood dishes like crab cake and fried oysters. They also do a good job of accommodating allergies. Plus, Hampton Social offers gluten-free pizza crust options making it easy for the bride-to-be or anyone else with specific gluten-sensitive needs.

Liberty Common

Liberty Common has a French brasserie-inspired style with a distinctly Southern influence. The Instagram-worthy restaurant is set up well to accommodate bachelorette parties with lots of seating options and a delicious menu. Their biscuits are amazing for breakfast, and the crispy fries are perfect with any meal.

It’s one of the best brunch spots in Nashville. To help with your bachelorette party planning you should know that the restaurant has a happy hour on Thursdays. Also, the garage next door offers a parking discount to restaurant patrons with a validated ticket from Liberty Common.

Biscuit Love

Biscuit Love is another incredibly popular brunch place in Nashville to go during a bachelorette party. Biscuit Love is only open for breakfast, but as you might expect from the name, the biscuits here are very good! Make sure the table gets at least one order of bonuts, their biscuit donuts topped with blueberry compote.

The Southern Benny with country ham is also a good choice, but you really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. 

There are currently two Biscuit Love locations in Nashville. The line for weekend brunch will be out the door, but it typically moves faster than you would expect. If you have time in your Nashville itinerary, it’s worth the wait.

Assembly Food Hall

For larger groups, Assembly Food Hall is one of the best places to eat in Downtown Nashville. Located at 5th and Broadway, Assembly Food Hall is the largest food court in the U.S. With Nashville staples like Prince’s Hot Chicken and Coco’s Fresh Italian, you can sample different local favorites all in one place.

The property also includes three stages where performers play live music. Whether you’re seeing a concert at Bridgestone Arena or getting ready to visit all the bars on Broadway, Assembly Food Hall is the perfect place to go.

People can easily split up to grab the food they want, so there’s not the same pressure to choose one restaurant that will make everyone happy.

Sinema

Located in the historic Melrose Theatre, Sinema has an Old Hollywood vibe inspired by the building’s roots. Sinema serves contemporary American cuisine. The restaurant has great food for every meal, but the weekend brunch is especially fun.

The bottomless brunch is made-to-order and delivered to your table family-style. On the sweet side, the Fruity Pebbles French Toast is delicious. For a more savory dish, there’s everything from Papas Rancheros to a BBQ Pork Plate. Bottomless Mimosas and Bloody Marys are also available for an additional price. 

Be sure to make reservations in advance because the weekend brunch is very popular with both Nashville locals and visitors.

Nashville Bachelorette Bars

Tootsie’s

An iconic Nashville honky tonk that’s been around since the 1960s.

While there are lots of Honky Tonks to choose from in Downtown Nashville, Tootsie’s gets a spot on our bachelorette party guide because it’s been a Nashville staple for so many years. 

Tootsie Bess bought the bar in the 1960s. Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, and Patsy Cline are just a few of the country legends who were customers during the bar’s early years.

You can’t visit Music City without stopping at the iconic spot at least once. Afterward, you can continue to bar hop through the Broadway Honky Tonks for the night.

L.A. Jackson

One of the most popular rooftop bars in Nashville with amazing specialty cocktails and small plates.

Located in the trendy Gulch neighborhood, L.A. Jackson is the perfect rooftop bar for a bachelorette party. Their specialty cocktails are incredibly fun, and their food menu is like nothing you’ll find anywhere else. One of the popular items is the Champagne Glitter Chicken, which does actually feature glittered chicken strips.

The L.A. Jackson overlooks the city from the top of the Thompson Hotel. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Hidden Bar

Tucked away in Noelle, this hotel speakeasy is a cool spot to hang out.

Whether you’re staying at Noelle Hotel downtown or not, it’s worth stopping by Hidden Bar. The bar is located at the back of Makeready L&L, the hotel restaurant. The theme changes every few months, and it’s always fun. The last time I was there, the bar had a Moulin Rouge-inspired feel.

The drinks and special cocktails available usually fit the theme, and dressing up in your most fun outfit is encouraged here.

Note that this might not be the best choice for a larger group because space is limited. Reservations are not available in advance.

White Limozeen

A bright, pink, glam rooftop bar in the Graduate Hotel inspired by Dolly Parton.

White Limozeen is a fun bar that should be on every Nashville bachelorette itinerary. And if you’re staying at my top recommended hotel, The Graduate Nashville, your party will all already be in the same building!

The entire space has a playful vibe and nearly everything is pink. It would be worth going here just to take photos with the decor. But the drinks and the food are also good.

The restaurant has lunch and dinner options. I’d suggest getting the fries even if you only plan on having cocktails because the fries are seasoned so perfectly. The cocktails are all on theme with names like Queen of the Rodeo and Golden Hour. 

During the summer, the rooftop pool opens. You can reserve a spot at the pool for a few hours to take in the view of downtown. Reservations for both the bar and the pool fill up quickly. There are some walk-in spots available on the patio if you aren’t able to get a reservation for your bachelorette weekend.

Sand Bar

A pet-friendly outdoor bar in Midtown with a relaxed atmosphere.

The Sand Bar is a great Nashville bar for a more laid-back bachelorette vibe. Located in Midtown, not far from Centennial Park, the outdoor bar is the best place in Nashville to enjoy sunshine, sand, and volleyball. As an added bonus, Sand Bar is pet-friendly.

Outside drinks are not allowed, but you can bring your own food. However, there are several places to get good food right next to the bar including an ice cream shop and AVO, a vegan restaurant. You’re allowed to decorate a table as long as you take the decorations down before you leave.

Be sure to bring your sunscreen!

Nashville Bachelorette Party Tips

Know Your Expectations

Not everyone has the same idea about what a good bachelorette party should be like. Find out what her must-dos are and what activities she’d rather avoid.

Even though things like bar hopping are considered typical bachelorette party activities, the bride might be happier having a spa day or going hiking if that fits her personality better. 

Get Matching T-Shirts

You’ll see lots of bachelorette parties walking around Nashville all wearing matching t-shirts. One of the best Nashville bachelorette party ideas I’ve seen is to pick shirts that don’t directly reference the party–like shirts with song lyrics or movie characters on them. Then, the shirts are less likely to end up in the back of the closet later on.

Don’t Automatically Pack Cowboy Boots

Your group can totally wear cowboy boots in Nashville if you want. You won’t be the only bachelorette party walking around in cowboy boots.

Figure Out Transportation

If your group is flying in, you’ll need to pick your plan for transportation in Nashville. You can either rent a car, book accommodations in a walkable area of the city, or plan to use rideshare apps. All of these options will likely increase the cost of the bachelorette weekend.

Don’t Overschedule Activities

With so many fun activities in Nashville, it can be tempting to try to pack too many things into your bachelorette party. There are lots of great activities in Nashville, but you don’t have to do everything. Everyone will be happier if you aren’t rushing around the city.
