If you stay in a downtown tourist area in San Francisco, the streets may be loud at night. Keep this in mind if you are on a business trip or are traveling with small children.

Traffic is loud all night in congested areas and loud nightlife clubs and bars in districts like the Castro will interfere with your night’s rest.
