Lone Pine town provides a good base for hiking numerous mountains in the vicinity. From this mountain community, access is available to the trailheads for Mt. Whitney and Mt. Langley. The Big Pine Lakes and Palisade Glacier trailheads are simply a brief drive away as well.

Bear witness to some of the most beautiful spring blooms and winter snowfalls at lofty elevations in the Sierra Nevadas. Lake Sabrina in Bishop is also a great area to see the changing autumn colors.

There are many restaurants and cafes in the Eastern Sierra towns along the 395 Highway and plenty of hotel and camping options as well.
