All Disney World resort hotels offer complimentary self-parking for guests. The parking lot capacities and locations vary by hotel.

Disney deluxe, deluxe villa resorts, and Coronado Springs Resort offer valet parking for all guests at $33 per day. Valet parking is available at all Walt Disney World hotels for guests with a valid disability parking permit.

Day guests visiting Walt Disney World resort hotels can also enjoy complimentary parking.

Parking by Disney World Park

Parking at Magic Kingdom

To visit the Magic Kingdom, you will leave your car in the parking lot at the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC). The area is divided into several parking lots named for Disney heroes and villains. You shouldn’t have a problem finding a parking space since the lots can hold more than 12,000 cars.Β

Since trams are running continuously to bring you from your car to the Ticket and Transportation Center, I would skip preferred parking at the Magic Kingdom.Β

See my itinerary for planning the perfect day at the Magic Kingdom.

Parking at Epcot

The Epcot parking lot is expansive, with over 11,000 spots available. Luckily, parking lot trams shuttle guests to the entrances of the park.

Plan your trip to Epcot with my Epcot one day itinerary planner.

Parking at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

The entrance to the Hollywood Studios parking area can be confusing to find. It is located southeast of the park at the intersection of Osceola Parkway and Victory Way. Luckily, the Walt Disney Company has excellent signage to direct you around the Disney resort.Β

This is one of Disney’s smaller parking lots, holding approximately 6500 cars. If you are parked in the back of the lot, a tram will take you to the park entrance

Parking at Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Disney’s Animal Kingdom has the smallest lot of the Disney theme parks, holding just over 6,000 vehicles. Many of the parking spaces are within walking distance of the entrance. There is a tram to take guests from the farther lots to the front of the park.Β

Check out my itinerary to learn how to do one day at Animal Kingdom.

Parking at Disney Springs

Disney Springs parking used to be a nightmare. However, with the renovations of the area also came 3 parking garages. There is also surface parking available.Β

There is no parking fee to use the garages or surface parking.Β

πŸ‘‰ Pro Tip: The security checks and walkways from the garages to Disney Springs are located on the 2nd floor. If spots are available, try to park on that floor for minimal walking.Β

Parking at Disney’s Boardwalk

There is no designated parking area for the Boardwalk, so you’ll need to park at the Boardwalk Inn. Sometimes, security will turn you away if you do not have a dining or recreation reservation. If they allow you to park at the Boardwalk Inn, there is no parking fee.

Another option to access Disney’s Boardwalk is by parking at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin. Day guests must pay $35 plus applicable tax to park at the hotel.Β

Tips for Parking at Disney World

a highway sign that reads

Use the My Disney Experience Car Locator

Recently, the My Disney Experience application introduced a car locator feature. By connecting to GPS, the app will remember the location of your car in the vast lots of the Disney World parks.Β

Getting to know the My Disney Experience app is just one of my many Disney World tips to make your vacation easier.Β

The Tram is Not Always Faster

Depending on where you are parked and how many trams are running, you could end up waiting 10-15 minutes to catch a tram (especially with the morning rush). If you can see the entrance of the park, I recommend just walking to the front.Β

Make Your Rental Car Stand Out

If you like to rent cars for your Disney World trips, you probably already know that most of the cars look the same. Many rentals are silver, black, or white. Add a colorful ribbon or magnetic bumper sticker to help your car stand out in the large lots.Β

Park at Disney Springs to Access Hotels

Technically, parking at Walt Disney World hotels is reserved for overnight guests and day guests with a dining reservation.Β

Disney hotels will sometimes turn away guests without reservations. This is especially true for resorts with monorail or Skyliner access. During the holidays, you can expect seasonal parking restrictions (especially at the Magic Kingdom resorts). However, everyone is welcome to park at Disney Springs and take the bus transportation to a Disney resort.Β

Skip Parking – Use Disney Transportation

If you are staying at a Disney resort hotel, you can save a lot of money by skipping a rental car. The only transportation you’ll need to pay for is getting from Orlando International Airport to your hotel. Disney offers free transportation to every theme park, the water parks, and Disney Springs.Β

Using free Disney transportation is just one way to do Disney World on the cheap.
