When traveling, I normally prefer staying in an Airbnb where I have my own space and briefly experience local life as a visitor. Tofino has amazing beachfront resorts and lodges we`ll discuss next if that style appeals more.
Tofino has plenty of incredible Airbnb options ready and waiting to serve as a perfect home base for your trip. Here are five that caught my eye.
Cedarwood Cove Retreat – Waterfront Cabin (1 bedroom / 1 bathroom) – This property comes with free use of surf boards, wet suits, bikes, and more, saving you funds on rentals. Plus, ocean vistas from the hot tub!
Ocean Dream Waterfront Cottage Tofino (1 bedroom + futon / 1 bathroom) – Ideal rustic escape for a couple or a family of four with a futon downstairs for the children.
The Harbour Hideaway Oceanfront Condo (1 bedroom + sofa bed / 1 bathroom) – We stayed in this complex on our trip, and it’s truly the perfect location if you want to stay in Tofino itself. It’s less than five blocks to basically anything in town, and has plenty of parking for the longer trips.
Beam of Daylight(2 sleeping spaces + sofa bed / 2 washrooms) – Private hot bathtub, outside shower, and placed centrally between the southern beaches and Tofino itself? I`m ready to reserve! Wonderful for a family or group of friends.
The Harbor Residence near South Chesterman Beach (2 bedrooms + sofa bed / 2 bathrooms) – A brief 12 minute walk from Chesterman Beach, this relaxing rural home features a fully equipped kitchen and a expansive, light-filled common area thanks to the vaulted ceilings. There’s even an outdoor shower area, which is often preferable.
Cox Bay Cottage (2 bedrooms + sofa bed / 2 bathrooms) – Modern and comfortably designed wooden building found within a rainforest area. It sits near Cox Bay but not directly on the beach. Outside includes a relaxing spot with a fire pit and another shower outdoors!
