Paros Family Hotels – Where To Stay
- Naoussa and Parikia are the two most vibrant towns on Paros. Naoussa tends to be trendier and has superior restaurants, while Parikia is busier with more shopping options (and is where the ferries arrive and depart).
- A day trip to Antiparos is a must. Great beaches and very good local eateries. Small boats leave from Parikia every hour requiring about 20 minutes to arrive there.
- Kolymbithres Beach – Rock structures that remind some of the moon fill this protected cove beach. Don’t go to swim, arrive early and adventure among the rocks.

Taxis are also available from the port or airport, though there are only approximately 30 taxis catering to the whole island, so there is often a long wait; schedule a ride through a private transport service ahead of time to avoid this (I use and recommend Welcome Pickups). Taxis on Mykonos are not metered, so be sure to agree on a price with the driver before departing. A taxi from the airport or ferry port to Nissaki Boutique Hotel should cost about €20 to €25. Booking through a private transport service will cost only a bit more – about $38 (€31), but it’s worth it to avoid the wait and for the ease of pre-payment.

All include private terraces while some provide interior or outdoor hot tubs, and the three-bedroom suites as well as superior suites have full kitchens. Delectable meals are provided throughout the day beginning with their organic, farm-fresh breakfast selections and culminating in inspired Mediterranean dinners. Situated just above Piperi Beach, the hotel has an exclusive beach lounge section; however, visitors should note that beach access necessitates crossing the road then descending steep steps.
