Paros Family Hotels – Where To Stay

  • Naoussa and Parikia are the two most vibrant towns on Paros. Naoussa tends to be trendier and has superior restaurants, while Parikia is busier with more shopping options (and is where the ferries arrive and depart).
  • A day trip to Antiparos is a must. Great beaches and very good local eateries. Small boats leave from Parikia every hour requiring about 20 minutes to arrive there.
  • Kolymbithres Beach – Rock structures that remind some of the moon fill this protected cove beach. Don’t go to swim, arrive early and adventure among the rocks.

The 12 Best Family Hotels in Paros

  • Clicking the hotel name checks prices on Booking.com – my preferred site for booking lodgings. Reserve 6 to 8 months in advance for the best rooms and rates.

1. Poseidon of Paros Hotel & Spa – Chrissi Akti Beach

a swimming pool with a pool table and chairs This family-friendly beachfront hotel on Paros Island offers various amenities welcoming guests of all ages. Notably, it has two swimming pools, including one designated for younger visitors, along with a floating dock for safe swimming access. On land, a playground and babysitting services provide entertainment and assistance for families. Accommodations include suites accommodating up to four people, such as the spacious two-bedroom Grand Suite with sea views. A daily breakfast buffet and creative Greek menu options are available throughout the day in the full-service restaurant, with kid-friendly selections and allergen information provided. Furthermore, refreshments and snacks can be enjoyed at their beach club, helpfully serviced by a retro vehicle-turned-concession stand. The hotel`s prized location allows direct access to the beautiful Chrissi Akti Beach. While public transportation is within short walking distance, renting a vehicle offers improved flexibility.

2. Saint Andrea Resort Hotel – Livadia, near Naoussa

a swimming pool filled with lots of blue umbrellasTaxis are also available from the port or airport, though there are only approximately 30 taxis catering to the whole island, so there is often a long wait; schedule a ride through a private transport service ahead of time to avoid this (I use and recommend Welcome Pickups). Taxis on Mykonos are not metered, so be sure to agree on a price with the driver before departing. A taxi from the airport or ferry port to Nissaki Boutique Hotel should cost about €20 to €25. Booking through a private transport service will cost only a bit more – about $38 (€31), but it’s worth it to avoid the wait and for the ease of pre-payment.
