The cherry-sized tomato is among the most renowned and traditional products of Santorini, and it has been cultivated on the island since the late 19th century. The Tomato Industrial Museum offers insights into the industrial past of Santorini where genuine accounts from individuals who labored in the facility are shared. Guided tours of the museum are available every half hour, typically lasting between 20 to 30 minutes. The museum`s warehouses feature lovely art and photography from local creators. There`s also an intriguing museum shop for purchases.
There are some eateries and bars within walking distance, like the outstanding Kiria Roula’s. Most feature a menu of seafood, although meat and vegetable options are also accessible.
