The rooms in this extraordinary resort fall under two classes mostly differing in layout and views, but all offer lavish accommodations with an appealing Fijian design. Rooms toward the back of the grounds provide glimpses of the sea from upper floors if palms allow, whereas those along the creek boast finer ocean perspectives from their triangular balconies. In contrast, the bures or bungalows are separate and scattered across the tropical gardens, with some facing directly toward the ocean. Each bure features a tall thatched roof embellished with ornate ceiling wallpaper and an enticing hammock on the patio. The resort caters exceptionally well for families, supplying many activities and a wonderful kids club providing engaging activities and a sizable playground. Furthermore, those without children are not overlooked with an adults-only pool, bars, and restaurants available. Although the large resort appears isolated, there are several inexpensive bars and cafes easily accessible via the beach.

  • Location: Along the southern shore of the primary island, Viti Levu, in an area referred to as the Sunset Strip along the Coral Coast. Around 77 km from Nadi and the airport, and 8 km from Sigatoka, a pleasant regional town center.
  • Accommodates all individuals, though particularly caters towards families with children. Adult guests without kids have separate places to eat, drink and relax, but it can be difficult to avoid the noise from young ones enjoying themselves.
  • Beach: The resort sits directly on a clean and relatively narrow beach virtually reserved for private use. With reefs 500m offshore, the calm waters are ideal for kayaking, paddleboarding, and toddlers splashing around. However, there isn`t much shade.
  • Sceneries: These differ. Many rooms have a sea view, but at a distance of 50m to 300m. Most bungalows face the rear of another, while a few do directly overlook the ocean.
  • Internet: Complementary for 30 minutes daily. Lengthier access incurs sizeable costs.

  • Pool: The massive lagoon-style pool meanders alongside the beach, with plenty of shallow areas for children. Also, a separate adults-only pool is far away.
  • Spa: The remarkable hilltop Bebe Spa Sanctuary is accessible via hotel shuttle. It provides a variety of amazing massages, exfoliation treatments, and waxing, with some of the best Fijian views from the wrap-around decking.
  • Fitness Center: Huge, very well-stocked, and accessible 24 hours a day.
  • Private Pools/Jacuzzis: None of the rooms contain these features, but a large hot tub is connected to each of the two pools.
  • Major Cinematic Event in Toronto – One of the largest film festivals globally, this event has developed in reputation and importance since 1976. Drawing crowds approaching half a million people, it screens nearly 300 movies over an eleven day period. Be sure to purchase tickets and lodging ahead of time!

Meals with imported meat dishes and local seafood along with wood-fired pizza. • Baravi Restaurant & Pool Bar – Next to the pool serving Asian dishes with modern twists. • Ivi Restaurant – Award-winning restaurant in an intimate setting ideal for couples. Dinner only requiring bookings in advance and a dress code. • Takia on the Go – In the lobby for sandwiches, wraps and coffee.
  • Lounges/Bars: Vahavu Bistro – Next to the adults-only pool for breakfast and bistro-style lunches. With a swim-up bar and hot tub. • Vakavanua Lounge – Relaxed, adults-only lounge for cocktails, appetizers, and live music. Open from 5 pm, and dressed up attire. • Kalokalo Bar – On a hilltop across the road and accessible by hotel shuttle. Cocktails with breathtaking 360-degree views, including of splendid sunsets. Small plates available. Adults only.
  • Morning Meal: Sometimes included in rates. Otherwise, the impressive self-serve breakfast is worth paying for separately.

  • All rooms can accommodate 2 youngsters. The 1-Bedroom Suite caters for a family of 5, while the family bungalows have space for 6.

They provide happy hour specials and weekly buffets along with children`s menu options

  • A minimarket is at the lobby, but no other shops are within walking distance.

Local Transport

  • Just outside the entrance is a public bus stop for services every hour or so to Suva and Nadi, and more regularly to the pleasant regional center of Sigatoka, 8 km away. A few unmetered taxis quote inflated fares.
