Metaxi Mas is considered one of the finest dining establishments on Santorini. Removed from the busier areas and off well-traveled routes, guests will be astounded by the breathtaking perspectives of the ocean and surrounding hamlets offered here. Dimitri and his sibling Kosta have been delighting patrons with their innovative takes on conventional Greek cuisine for over two decades. All ingredients utilized are carefully chosen giving customers the highest levels of quality and consistency with every meal. Considering this, it represents good value for what is received. The menu chiefly focuses on fusion varieties of Greek food. Abundant seafood, meat and vegetarian choices are available. The kadaifi stuffed with cheese and a berry blend is an absolute necessity! The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable regarding the dishes and wines and happy to elucidate or propose what to eat or drink. An excellent place for a romantic evening or a casual one. A slightly dressier environment, but by no means formal. Reservations are essential and better to make days in advance, particularly for larger groups. There is nearly always a line of individuals waiting to dine here. We suggest pairing dinner here with cocktails and a film at the outside theatre in Kamari (about a 5 minute drive away).
