Ferries from Mykonbos to Athens (Piraeus)
The Piraeus Ferry Terminal (30 minutes by metro or taxi from central Athens) is a journey of 2.5 to 4 hours from Mykonos on the fastest highspeed ferries and catamarans, and 5 to 6 hours on the slower vehicle ferries. The majority of ferries from Mykonos to Piraeus also stop in Tinos or Syros en route. In peak season (May to October) there will be 3 to 5 ferries per day to Athens. In the off-peak season there will always be a minimum of one ferry per day. Typically, ferries travel from Athens to Mykonos in the morning and depart from Mykonos to Athens in the afternoon.
