Getting Around Paros by Bus
When residing on Paros, one of the most convenient and cost-effective ways to travel between the key towns and beaches, in addition to the Antiparos ferry at Pounta, is by using the island’s excellent public transportation system. The coach-style vehicles are comfortable, air conditioned, and typically on schedule. Buses on Paros make a route surrounding the perimeter of the island, with some routes heading inland to the smaller villages.

- Paros bus timetable: The bus timetable is revised every couple of weeks or so, with routes increasing in frequency as the summer progresses.
- Fares for buses on Paros: Ticket prices vary depending on the route and distance traveled, ranging from 2.00€ to 3.50€ per trip, but are usually under 3€. A full-day, cross-island ticket is available for 10€. Bus tickets can be purchased at the Parikia and Naoussa terminal stations, as well as some stores and mini-marts in main towns and beaches.

During peak season, a small boat runs from the Parikia Port to Antiparos. If prone to seasickness, use the larger car ferry from Pounta.
