- How to Get There: It is approximately 6km from the Naxos ferry port and 3km from the Naxos Airport to the hotel.
There is direct transportation from Naxos Town to the village of Agios Prokopios via bus. The bus can be caught at the terminal located at the end of the lengthy ferry dock – this is the Island’s main station and transportation hub, providing weekly printed schedules. Tickets may be purchased inside the station, or at a kiosk at the bus stop outside. The ride takes approximately 16 minutes and costs about €2 per traveler. Buses operate daily, usually departing every half hour during peak summer hours; less frequently at night, early morning, and shoulder season winter months. It is a 12-minute walk from the nearest bus stop at Agios Prokopios beach to the hotel, not advised with luggage.
Transportation from the ferry port or airport was available via taxi, with vehicles generally waiting after each arrival by water or air transportation. A taxi ride from the ferry port to Kavos Boutique Hotel would cost approximately 10 to 20 Euros and take around 10 minutes. Transportation from the airport by taxi would cost about 6 to 10 Euros and take around 5 minutes. Taxis on Naxos did not use meters, so travelers were advised to agree on a cost with the driver before departing.
