Staying in Elia
Elia Beach is 11 km southeast of Mykonos Town in a large open bay that can sometimes be windy. It’s the longest stretch of sand on Mykonos, with fewer commercial operations in the surrounding area compared to many other beaches. There is one major restaurant and bar situated directly on the beach which is highly popular and renowned, plus a handful of water sports rental options. Additionally, there are some smaller inlets to explore along the rocky hillside found at the southern end of the beach, one of which permits nude sunbathing. The bus stop is located at the entrance to the beach parking lot, and Elia is the terminus on the Mykonos water taxi.
