- Book well ahead of time. Many people arrange Santorini trips months or even years in advance, and hotels fill early each year with vacation rentals reserving even sooner.
- If you`re paying the owner upon arrival sometimes you`ll need to pay in cash, even if you booked online and used a credit card to reserve the villa.
- Weddings and wedding receptions are commonly held at villas and rental homes. If additional information is needed inquire with the owner.
- Is AirBnb a good option for Santorini? Both yes and no. A small number have excellent caldera views. Airbnb (and VRBO) can work if you desire inexpensive lodging lacking caldera panoramas. Where a quality spot with caldera perspectives is found, it`s commonly a hotel listing some rooms on Airbnb (usually at higher rates).
