A relatively new winery on the Santorini landscape (opened in 2016), Vassaltis Vineyards is contemporary and laid back, with perspectives of the water – but not the caldera. It is claimed by the relatives that possesses the high-end boutique lodging, The Vasilicos, in Imerovigli. Open daily from April to October, Vassaltis concentrates on the local white grape assortments of assyrtiko, aidani, arthiri; and the red grapes of mavrotragano and mandilaria. There is an assortment of tasting choices, depending on if you prefer a food pairing or a winery trip. Daily trips are led at 3pm. Reservations are strongly suggested, but drop-ins will be accommodated; email or phone ahead to schedule.

There is a superb restaurant on location, serving excellent seafood, vegetarian, and meat choices, as well as traditional Greek menu things. Private car or taxi is the recommended way to arrive at Vassaltis Vineyards, as there are few buses that travel through Vourvoulos per day. Parking is available on site.

    For example, the New York Botanical Garden is exceptionally amazing throughout the year, though in the autumn season it sponsors Fall Fun Festivities. Running from September to November, Fall Fun Festivities incorporates all sorts of fall-themed undertakings like pumpkin shaping, scarecrow development, and wagon rides. There are processions for the children and an ale garden for the grown-ups, as well as unique end of the week occasions and spooky garden nights for Halloween.
