Canava Roussos is a long-established, charming, and relaxed winery – and also the earliest in Santorini, founded in 1836. Open seasonally from May to October, they provide wines for sampling at €3 per sample or €6 per glass. Their attractive, garden-like outdoor tasting area has good shade, and there are a handful of indoor tables in case of rain.
Tours are informal and friendly, cold cuts and cheese are available to sample wines, and a few games occupy kids while adults taste. Their outdoor theater periodically hosts plays and musical performances. Parking is on-site, and Canava Roussos is easily accessible via bus on the Fira-Kamari route.

Running from September to November, Fall Fun Festivities incorporates all sorts of fall-themed undertakings like pumpkin shaping, scarecrow development, and wagon rides. There are processions for the children and an ale garden for the grown-ups, as well as unique end of the week occasions and spooky garden nights for Halloween.
